THE IMPACT GREATER GRACE MINISTRIES HAS MADE IS BEST
EXPRESSED BY THE LIVES IT HAS TOUCHED AND CHANGED...
TESTIMONIALS:
My life, as I knew it, was gone and I had hit rock bottom emotionally. I had nowhere to turn until one of the women from the group gave me her number to call. I did, and she invited me over to talk. When she realized this was more than she could help with, she asked if she could call a friend. I had already had trust issues from talking to 'church people,' but I was assured this lady was trustworthy. In my weakest moment I agreed and in she walked. Her name is Teresa. Teresa looked at me and, without hesitation, she hugged me and began to pray. She prayed as if I was her family member or life-long friend. She held me and continued to say how she loved me. It was so genuine. She didn't judge. She didn't know what was wrong--she didn't care. She just knew she saw someone that needed love and prayer, and she did that. She allowed me to be vulnerable and loved me in the midst-without having to know a thing. She was a true woman of Christ and when I stopped crying long enough to look at her, I could see Christ in her. They were not just words-she really did have love for me. She smiled at me and I felt comfort. The following week, she began to counsel me, and each time my respect for her grew. She said what needed to be said (she is not one to hold her tongue), but she did not condemn me in any way. She didn't run to tell the church what was going on; she didn't gossip; she didn't judge; she led, counseled and loved. She helped me to get out of that valley I was in (emotionally) and held my hand those times I couldn't go anymore. She provided my "spiritual oxygen tank" those times it hurt to breathe. When we missed a service, she asked why. She became a friend to me. I thank God every day that she was there-is there-for me.

I met Teresa at Park West Church in the year 2009. I was new to the church and going through a horrible divorce. My life was falling apart. I had my family, but they were not the spiritual guidance I needed.
God provided Teresa as my spiritual mother. She was always there for me whenever I needed her whether it was to talk on the phone or to talk in person. She taught many things about life and living in this world was not fair, but that God had plans for me that the devil could not touch. She loved me and my daughter as her own. She always made both of us feel welcome and loved. I knew I could tell her anything and she would not judge me for it.
Sometimes I did not want to hear the truth, but she was always honest with me and would not let me stay down. She is such a strong woman of God. Her wisdom shows you how much our Heavenly Father loves us so dearly. I am so thankful and blessed to call Teresa my spiritual mother.

Dear Teresa,
Last year I went to a Ladies Conference held by our church. Teresa Smith was one of the speakers at that event. The message was "He dressed me with His Promises". She spoke on how God is faithful in keeping His promises, He is trustworthy. God's Word will not return void but will achieve the purposes for which it was sent . He has a plan and a purpose for our lives, if we believe and put our trust in Him.
Teresa had illustrations of the different wedding garments she had worn, but said it was all about His promises to her in being set free from bondage. I was so inspired by her message.
We had a time for prayer afterward. I went up for prayer and Teresa prayed a powerful prayer over me. All my life I had a spirit of rejection by my father. I never had a good relationship with him. I didn't feel that he loved me. I realized as she was praying for me that I had allowed the enemy to use this as a weapon against me. He had kept me in bondage by believing his lies. I felt a heavy weight had been lifted from me as she finished praying for me. It was liberating to be set free.
We can't let the enemy destroy us with his lies. The Bible says he comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have an abundant life. The Greek meaning for "abundant" means an exceeding measure, something beyond the ordinary.
Thank God for His abundant grace, love and peace flowing in my life today.
Love & Blessings,
~Sandy
