ALL HAVE SINNED: From the moment Adam and Eve ate the fruit in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:6), sin entered into the world. Sin is the willful disobedience to God’s instructions. His instructions are found in His Word (The Bible). Because of Adam and Eve’s willful disobedience to God’s instruction, sin entered our world and you and I were born into this world as sinners (i.e. someone with a sin nature).
The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any who understood, dealt wisely, and sought after God, inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him [of vital necessity]. They are all gone aside, they have all together become filthy; THERE IS NONE THAT DOES GOOD OR RIGHT, NO, NOT ONE. (Ps. 14:2-3)
The Word of God explains that none of us have a nature that is pure and clean before our Holy God.
Since ALL have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives. [ALL] ARE JUSTIFIED and MADE UPRIGHT and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously BY HIS GRACE (His unmerited favor and mercy), THROUGH THE REDEMPTION WHICH IS [PROVIDED] IN CHRIST JESUS, Whom God put forward before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life- giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment. It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that HE JUSTIFIES and ACCEPTS AS RIGHTEOUS HIM WHO HAS [TRUE] FAITH IN JESUS. (Rom 3:23-26)
CAN WE PAY FOR OUR OWN SINS AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT BETWEEN US AND GOD or CAN WE BE “GOOD ENOUGH” TO GET INTO HEAVEN WITHOUT RECEIVING JESUS AS OUR SAVIOR?
No, because God set forth in the Beginning (Gen. 3:7) how He desired sin to be atoned for -- only by a sacrifice (the shedding of innocent blood) could we be reconciled to God. Therefore, God sent Christ as the FINAL sacrifice to pay for your and my sin if we will just receive Him. (Hebrews 9:11-12)
HOW CAN I RECEIVE CHRIST INTO MY HEART? By admitting you are a sinner, repenting of your sins (turning away from them), acknowledging that He is the only way to God, and confessing Him as your Lord and Savior.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (I John 1:8-9)
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) (See also, Isaiah 45:22 Amp)
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Rom 10:9-10)
ONCE I ASK THE LORD INTO MY HEART, WILL HE FORGIVE ME?
YES, YES, AND YES!!!
Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD "- and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah [Selah means “pause & calmly think of that”] Ps. 32:5)
I will cleanse them from all their wickedness (guilt) by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon (forgive) all their sins by which they rebelled against Me. (Jeremiah 33:8 Amp)
IF YOU HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED YOURSELF A SINNER, REPENTED OF YOUR DISOBEDIENCE, AND ASKED JESUS INTO YOUR HEART, WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD!
YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED – YOUR SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN – YOU HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHTEOUS THROUGH CHRIST’S SACRIFICE!
God is to us a God of deliverances and salvation; and to God the Lord belongs escape from death [setting us free]. (Psalm 68:20 Amp)
We are like a bird escaped from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped! Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 124:7-8 Amp)
Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:2-3 NIV)

HERE ARE SOME BEAUTIFUL SCRIPTURES TO READ AND DIGEST REGARDING YOUR RECENT DECISION:
And YOU [whom Jesus made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins in which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God]. Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God's] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind.
BUT GOD--so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation).
And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.
For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] FAITH.
And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]
For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [BORN ANEW] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good llife which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. (Ephesians 2:1-10)
HUNGRY TO CONTINUE YOUR STUDY OF HIS WORD AND WHAT HAS JUST HAPPENED IN YOUR HEART?
Let’s look again at Romans 3, now that you’ve received Jesus as your Lord and Savior:
21 But now the righteousness of God has been clearly revealed [independently and completely] apart from the Law, though it is [actually] confirmed by the Law and the [words and writings of the] Prophets. 22 This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction, 23 since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] [c]grace, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving] [d]sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be received] through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness [which demands punishment for sin], because in His forbearance [His deliberate restraint] He passed over the sins previously committed [before Jesus’ crucifixion]. 26 It was to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the One who justifies those who have faith in Jesus [and rely confidently on Him as Savior]. (Romans 3:21-26)
Now, some other scriptures regarding what has just happened in your heart: I will give them a heart to know Me, [understanding fully] that I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart. (Jeremiah 24:7 Amp)
And I will give them one heart [a new heart], and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh [that is responsive to My touch], that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 11:19-20 Amp)
To open their [spiritual] eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness and release from their sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified (set apart, made holy) by faith in Me. [Christ Jesus] (Acts 26:18 Amp)
They shall not defile themselves any more with their idols and their detestable things or with any of their transgressions, but I will save them out of all their dwelling places and from all their backslidings in which they have sinned, and I will cleanse them. So shall they be My people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 37:23 Amp)
